Respiratory Services
Helping companies stay within Respiratory Surveillance Protection Program Regulations
Protective Measures | Company Insights | Fully Equipped Mobile Units
According to OSHA an estimated 5 million workers are required to wear respirators in 1.3 million workplaces throughout the United States.
Respirators protect workers against insufficient oxygen environments, harmful dusts, fogs, smokes, mists, toxic gases, and vapors. These hazards may cause cancer, lung impairment, diseases, or death. Compliance with the OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard could avert hundreds of deaths and thousands of illnesses annually.
If your company needs to meet OSHA respiratory requirements air quality testing will need to be conducted in the facility. Employees of companies who do not meet OSHA requirements will be required to participate in health screenings and tests.
IHC can bring the on-site respiratory health screenings and tests to you at your convenience. On-site health screening gives you the option of having employees tested before, during or after their work shift.
